"Absolutely adore this place—from the atmosphere to the food and service. The exterior might seem unassuming, but once you step inside, you're greeted by a stylish interior featuring black walls, hanging lamps, and an incredible open kitchen. The staff were knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations. Portions are generous and perfect for sharing. Our group of six enjoyed a sourdough crumpet as a snack, four starters including beef tartare, charred carrots, eggplant, and tiger prawns, three mains—roasted duck, smoked lamb, and wagyu flap—along with two sides of heirloom tomatoes and wood-fired cabbage. For dessert, we had the grilled fig (an absolute must-try), soft chocolate, and strawberry Mille feuille. Best of all, it was very reasonably priced."
