"The atmosphere was a bit noisy, and the tables felt too close together. I ordered the pork chop dinner; while it was a bit overcooked, it had excellent flavor. However, we all agreed that the sides seemed to lack salt and pepper, and the potatoes were also overcooked. It felt like the food was prepared in a hurry. My husband had the chicken, but unfortunately, the skin was boiled. He also tried the octopus served on a slate plate, which looked appealing, but it was a bit messy with the juices spilling over.
Another thing I noticed was the need for paper napkins, as it felt awkward using cloth napkins to wipe our hands. Our waiter, Octavius, was attentive and friendly, but at times it was difficult to hear him, especially since he was the only server in the dining room. While he made an effort to attend to us, there were moments when we were left with dirty dishes on the table and had to ask the hostess for assistance.
Overall, the food was enjoyable, and the staff provided friendly service. We love the farm-to-table concept and have dining experiences at similar restaurants. I hope the owner addresses these issues, as the restaurant has great potential. I look forward to returning for lunch sometime and hopefully for another dinner experience."
