This place had the potential to be something special. It was a fantastic concept for a 24/7 sweets parlor featuring 149 different treats. However, when we visited recently (June 2021), the parlor was closed. Instead, we found a small, dimly lit entrance with a vending machine full of snacks. The overall atmosphere felt a bit off, so we decided to leave.
There are countless delicious dishes to explore at this restaurant. Our favorites were the peanut butter chocolate bar and the ooey-gooey bars. The apple cakes and oat flakes were also excellent. The staff was not only friendly but also very helpful. Thank you for the delightful creations and the warm atmosphere!
Oh, my God... Tonight stopped for the first time and I will be definitley back!! We have the gooey cake, strawberry cake and a short bread biscuits with buttercream icing. All three articles were delicious, but the cake was the best strawberry cake I've ever eaten...ever! This place is definitely a must try!!
I was extremely disappointed and wouldn't even give this place one star. After a long 24-hour trip, I took an exit off the highway specifically for ice cream, only to find a vending machine instead! Not worth the stop. The cheesecake tastes like store bought and the coffee is nothing special. Customer service was not good. She was more excited about playing on her phone than having customers. My husband's chocolate chip bar was not that good either.
This is my new favorite dessert spot! Usually I am and the child I am a nanny for Swirled for something sweet, but now this place is my new addiction! The staff here is incredibly friendly. I will definitely be back!
Susan offers the best fantastic treats that aren't overly sugary. There's a wonderful assortment, and it's the best value in the city. If you haven't tried 149 Candy yet, you're truly missing out! Great job!
Wow! All I can seriously say is.... WOW! Stopped in during Buskerfest to grab a treat for me and my little, holy pure goodness!! Next trip to Abingdon, I WILL be sure to get more sweet treats! Reserva una mesa ahora
This isn't a restaurant; it's more like a dubious vending machine tucked away in a small alcove of the building. Save your time and skip it.
