I have truly fallen in love with far western Virginia and all the amazing small towns just off of I 81, and Abingdon is definitely on my list of favs. And on my visit to Abingdon, I stumbled upon White Birch Food Juice and I am so happy I did! The Vibe: This is an Uber cute place with seating outside. I could tell alot of locals go there and hang out. Service: Service was great, super friendly and attentive. I got alot of great suggestions and enjoyed chatting about the area. Food: The food was really good. I had the Birch Power Bowl Rice quinoa topped with broccoli, chicipeas, seasonal root vegetables, dried cranberries, seasonal nuts, Ziegenwald goat cheese, and a maple tahini dressing. I...
What a gem! We drove by and noticed the charming tables outside in the shade, so we decided to stop for an early lunch. The service from Aisha was fantastic, and the staff went out of their way to help us choose ingredients from the menu that our kids would enjoy. Days later, I’m still craving the Thai Chicken Wrap and wishing I lived closer. We will definitely be returning!
Found this place on a roadtrip and what a delight! Everything else was closed due to a snow storm, we’re so happy that this place was open. The menu may be limited, but the food is delicious, and the coffee and lattes are excellent. It's a perfect spot for lunch or breakfast, and we've visited many times, always highly recommending it. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which is a big plus, and the atmosphere is lovely!
