We consistently enjoy dining at the 1754 House. The ambiance is inviting, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, making you feel well cared for throughout your meal. The street corn dip served with tortillas was delicious, and the filet mignon was cooked to perfection—so tender it practically melts in your mouth. The cod was also very fresh and incredibly flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed dessert, although I didn't capture a picture of it. I highly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant dinner or a special occasion!
1754 House Inn Restaurant is a super charming New England Inn. Their rooms are clean, comfortable, and decorated beautifully! The bed was also super comfortable, not too firm or too soft. While the inn rooms are fantastic, the stars of the show are the staff! Everyone is super nice, very helpful, and accommodating. The restaurant is also absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Everything about 1754 House is top notch!
We had our intimate wedding weekend at 1754 House and could not have been happier with the level of service! We had eaten at the restaurant and knew immediately it was the best place to host our wedding. Cara, the manager, is absolutely fabulous and everything from start to finish was amazing. The rooms are comfortable and clean, staff is very friendly, and the food is great.
We had a fantastic meal! The location felt familiar from our previous visits, but it was entirely transformed. The menu was impressive and offered refreshing options that were a welcome change from the usual fare. The attention to detail was wonderful. We will definitely be returning!

Really clean and cute rooms, good food, good pillows, can actually use the TVs. One thing to note is that there is no elevator but that kind of adds to the charm. Overall it’s a very pleasant place to stay and just very cute and very clean and nice.
Amazing place with wonderful food. I had the clam chowder and the heirloom tomato risotto, both of them were delicious.The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. Scott (our server) was very nice. I will definitely go back again soon.
I've been here before, but this second time was amazing. We ordered their NY strip special, the meat was so tender, we found our steak spot. The service was good too, very pleasant and attentive. We will def be going back.
