I had a very different experience than the previous reviewer. I went apparently only a few days later and talked to I think the owner. He had absolutely no idea what gluten was (at one point he asked me if cheese was GF and at another point, I’m fairly certain he was checking a barbecue sauce ingredients list for “gluten” , or what on the menu could be made gluten-free. Further, yes, they do have “gluten-free burger patties” (though I’m still confused as to how and why a beef patty would contain gluten but they didn’t have GF buns when I went — my burger came on GF bread, like a sandwich. A place that we liked from the past years but it was a big letdown today. The service is nice but since they are short of staff, everything is super slow. We had to ask to get our order taken and wait 20mn between the starter and the main even the wine order was taken wrongly and one cocktail was being forgotten. We finish our main and nobody came for 15mn so we left. The food is extremely salty and not so great. I had the duck which was 2 small pieces with mash potatoes which was more like a soup. This is seriously the best burger I’ve ever eaten. Gluten free buns, gluten free burger patties, and gluten free fries (regular and sweet potato). I’m still in shock over how good this burger was. The menu at the table doesn’t have gluten free bun listed but the waiter was very knowledgeable. We’ve eaten at a lot of places in Zermatt and I would consider this a “must-go” for any celiacs traveling in. Reserva una mesa ahora

Fantastic location in an ancient house, with super beautiful interior design by Heinz Julen. The cuisine is creatively playful, with a focus on South American specialties (the products used are locally produced). The service is very nice and courteous, but cannot quite keep up with the high level of the cuisine. Would eat there again in a heartbeat!

The food and service were excellent, the prices commensurate with the quality provided. I was very happy to find 100% South American products that I didn't think could be found in this part of the world, a very nice surprise. Without a doubt a place to return.
