Sarah was a great waitress! Cheerful and attentive! The roasted sea bass was divine. The view of the Navesink river was beautiful. The main seating area is a little loud. The upstairs is much quieter, but hard to reserve. We arrived at 11am. The main dining room was empty except for a huge table with teenagers and we were seated right next to them. When I requested a different table the maitre'd seemed irritated and said every table was reserved. In an empty restaurant I don't understand the logic of seating a quiet party of 2 next to a huge load party of 10! She seemed resentful to seat us elsewhere. Very disappointed in her attitude. My visit to 26th West on the Navesink in July was quite disappointing. I had made a reservation based on a friend's suggestion and was looking forward to trying out the restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately, I was let down by the portion size of the Seafood Ravioli I ordered. Due to time constraints, I couldn’t order another appetizer or meal. The brunch at this restaurant was truly delightful, offering a diverse selection of dishes ranging from brunch specials to seafood, burgers, and steak sandwiches, all complemented by a breathtaking view. The Eggs Benedict stood out as a highlight, featuring perfectly crispy ingredients. However, the standout aspect of my experience was our server, Belanda. She was exceptionally kind, attentive, and provided outstanding service, not to mention her stunning appearance. Belanda is undoubtedly a great asset to this wonderful restaurant.
I reserved a table for the early evening at this restaurant. The calamari appetizer was delightful. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, including linguini with clams and shrimp scampi, both of which were equally tasty. The dessert menu wasn't very impressive, but the espresso martini truly impressed!

The food was very good. My wife got linguine with clam sauce and i got linguine with crab and shrimp. Both would have been exceptional with more of the white wine sauce, but they were very good anyway. The beer could have been colder, but the service was great.
I had a surprise birthday party here for about 20 guests and the food, the service, the overall experience was phenomenal. The servers were so attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. I couldn't have asked for anything more for this birthday celebration.
Had a burger while sitting at the bar. The bartenders are really pleasant, the beer selection is quite good, the kitchen makes a great burger. One of the places where I enjoy a casual meal.
