After reading a the rave reviews we decided to give this restaurant a try for our anniversary dinner with the family. The starters were ok but the mains were nothing to write home about. My daughter and husband had pasta carbonara and it was dire. Tinned ham with lots of cream no peas or anything else in the sauce and definitely tasted of tinned mushroom soup. My husband makes a tonne better version at home. My skewer steak was ok. But nothing to rave about. My son had the cannelloni but it too was bland and had massive chunks of cheese in it. Cold inside with the radiators being switched off shortly after we arrived. Starter was garlic pizza which we were assured was small but was full size when it arrived. Fillet medallions for a main course which were stringy and tough, accompanying sauce was reminiscent of Bisto and altogether poor , monkfish was okay but nothing special decided not to risk desert.
Fantastic service and food. Generous options for the set lunch deal. Delicious food at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was not having the full selection of wine available and it was very confusing which door to use, so much so that we almost left thinking it was closed! Highly recommended despite this.
One of our friends randomly chose this one for us. We had no expectations prior to going in, and we were simply wowed by the food, service and hospitality. It's run by a small crew and we were a group of 10- and they went above and beyond to make sure that we got served to the best of their ability. I would highly recommend it!

Extremely disappointed. Starter (Terrine) tasteless. Hardly Chef prepared. The chicken main meal was similarly tasteless. Ambience stale. Downstairs room cold. Expected fine dining. Far from it. The waitresses were friendly though. Won't be back.
Lovely and tasteful food. Best lasagna my family members have had ever. Good service and god the food quite quickley. Wouldn’t mind eating here several times more. Reasonable priced as well.
I’ve never noticed this place before and a friend booked it for a birthday and it was absolutely lovely! A hidden gem and the food was amazing. Will definitely return

Excellent food and service unfortunately when we visited was quite with no music so very flat but staff were very attentive
