I am on a quest to find the best French Onion Soup. Sometimes, it's better to stick to the classic version rather than trying to get too fancy. While this attempt was definitely trying to be unique, it missed the mark on the basics. I was hoping for gooey melted cheese on top of bread with a crispy crust, but this version lacked in both onions and cheese. It felt more like a blob of cheese floating in a salad, rather than a traditional crock cup. On the other hand, the burrata salad was delicious and the flatbread was exceptional. We were in search of a nice brunch spot on the beach and came across this place through Yelp reviews. First off, the food was good but not outstanding. I tried the French Onion Soup and a Caesar Salad (not shown) as I wasn't very hungry. My husband had the Smash Burger, which he thought was good, but not exactly a smash burger. A friend had the Crab Cake Benedict, which she liked but couldn't finish, so my husband helped and said it was delicious. The Bloody Mary I ordered was fantastic! I stayed at The Saint Hotel for a weekend getaway and enjoyed dessert and cocktails at 82 degrees. The live music was great and the bartender was excellent.
