Then, we were told that the fee was actually $10 per person, not just per table. We found this to be unreasonable, as the number of people at the table shouldn't matter.
As we left, another employee followed us, insisting that we owed a game fee, contrary to what we had previously been told. The lack of clear communication from the staff regarding costs, coupled with the constant scrutiny, made us feel more like criminals than customers. We definitely won't be returning.
Even if you're just two people, you’ll still have a great time, though the more the merrier! There’s certainly something for everyone here.
And I must mention their masala chai – it’s absolutely fantastic! You can request refills, and they’re complimentary! Plus, the popcorn is the ideal snack while engrossed in gameplay. If you're a board game lover, this place is definitely a must-visit!
As for vegetarian options, they have plenty to choose from. When it comes to parking, you can either park on the street or at the nearby parkade.

The staff here was fantastic! They provided great game recommendations and were incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is very welcoming. We definitely plan to return soon! The food was tasty; the kids particularly enjoyed the Oreo milkshakes, quesadillas, and popcorn. The artichoke dip was delicious, but it could use more chips and pitas. The dessert options looked amazing, so I’ll have to give those a try during our next visit.

For my birthday, I went to Across the Board Café with a couple friends. I enjoyed the food, drinks and the games. The only issues were the prices of the food/drink and the level of service. The waiter was quite nice, but he didn't come by the table too often. We had to call him over a few times, which sometimes it was difficult to get his attention. But overall good experience.
Absolutely Amazing!!! Game selection for playing is incredible along with their store. They had so many obscure titles available to play and purchase. The only downside is the location with parking being hard and a bit sketchy for the area, but the cafe itself was so worth it!! Will definitely pop by and drag friends along to join!
The food was alright. They had trouble getting it all out at the same time for our group of ten. There is a good selection of gluten free options. Don’t normally write reviews but will say came with my son and wife and it’s great . Had the rice bowl for food while they had the snack pack of popcorn . Rice bowl by far best I’ve had in a long time . The games are awesome, reminds me of a fun version of baked expectations kinda vibe

Soooo much fun ?!!! Met with friends and played Phase 10 and Dutch Blitz. We had a wonderful, good time. Or should I say, ve had a vonderful güt time! ?Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. A station for little ones to play at.
