This was my first time visiting. I was in the mood for a hotdog and this place came up. The hotdogs are Casper and I have always wanted a bacon cheese Casper dog with everything. You can't get that at Capers, but here no problem. The place is old school dinner type, the man running it was really nice, but you have to talk loud. The menu is eclectic, America dinner classic and Asian dishes. I think the new owners are converting to Asian food but keeping the American. Not sure how that's working out, the place does not seem too busy. Anyways I ordered my bacon cheeses dog with everything and a side of onion rings. I'd driven by several times and wondered, this time I stopped in as I was itching for a burger. Man was I glad I did! Got my usual bacon cheeseburger and fries, and oh m gosh it was tasty! Fries were crispy and hot. Burger was juicy and topping were fresh. Onions and lettuce snapped,....oh so good. The mom and pop shop is firing on all cylinders. It was 1230 on a Tues and service was friendly and quick. I will return and I recommend you stop in. They offering many other items and breakfast too!
If you are looking for an old Hamburger and Hot Dog diner from the past....look no more. Aggie's in Hayward Ca. has been there for 17 years with the current owners. It was first opened in 1950 esh.The current owners serve breakfast, lunch and Dinner. My wife and have going there around 14 years as did my in- laws.The food is good and the fried zucchini is the best and the service is great. So if you want to step back time, go to Aggie's.
My son and I have been going there a long time. The food is always excellent. No matter what you order it is always cooked right, and served properly . The owners are very friendly nice people. The prices are fair the environment is comfortable and we always look forward to coming back. We went today and sadly they’re closing the restaurant om 6/30 so they can retire. I’m really going to miss going there. I wish them all the best

For years my sister and I had lunch there with our mother. Always great food and service! Mom died 16 years ago but the current owner STILL talks about her and the good times we shared at Aggies. For over 40 years, no matter the owner, it has been a part of my life and I am sad that they will be closing soon! Going there tonight, to eat well and let the owner know we will miss them. Goodbye old friends.
I love this place. Always a pleasure to come here and support a local small family business. Food is always good. Today we had the Philly cheese and burger with a side of fried zucchini. One word I have when sitting down is nostalgia, retro...ok, maybe two words. Love this place!
If you're thinking about going to IHOP or Denny's don't go there go here this place is definitely better than any breakfast place plus it's affordable for families
The owners are really nice, serve good food and are attentive to their customers.

Open face hotdog was great, I also had a bacon cheese burger, it was awesome.
It was okay the coke was awfulI'm not sure but they ruined it.watered down
