I have never met a more rude manager then this place!I went there just to order a pizza as takeaway. So after i payed, one of the girls from the staff asked me if it was takeaway and the manager straigth away starting to jell at her. A few minutes after that he comes to me infront of all he's staff and talking loud to me how all of he's staff is **** and doesn't want to work. And that there is no one in this country that wants to work. I felt sorry for the girls working there to be treated like that. during the time I waited, he only sat in he's chair and complained on the girls working there. And about the pizza you pay about 20dollar and it didnt taste any good at all, I had a way better p...
Alberto's has been around forever and was always a place to go, but over the last couple years the quality has dropped. Pizzas are just slapped together and by the time they are cooked and served they look pretty dismal. Yes they taste ok, some do in fact taste good. Trouble is, every slice is not the same as any other, some look great while others look like a piece of cooked dough and a smear of tomato paste only.Remember if you get something below par, ask for Alberto - and explain to him his cooks are not following his instruction.
This was the WORST experience I have ever had ordering food in my 34 years. I never even got the order! Spoke to a girl who was unhelpful and rude to both myself AND my girlfriend. We asked to speak with the mananger 'Pete' who basically said he couldn't help me and doesn't have to take s*** from people if they don't get their food ordered. I am DISGUSTED by the service I received from these people and this business I will never use them again.
A longstanding newtown institution this place has been around for a long time and deservedly so, great service, good food and a relaxed atmosphere.A great place to relax with a BYO beer or bottle of wine and to enjoy a great pizza or pasta dish, great value. Returned after a long absence to find nothing had changed, was still good.

This little pizza place is quite refreshing....it doesn't have an ego or a snappy interior..it's just a pizza place. Having said that the pizza's are wow and the price..unbeatable. Great for a relaxed dine in dinner, its BYO, or a take away. Alberto is lovely, welcoming and friendly as are the staff. It's simplicity at it's best
80 year old Alberto is a Master Pizza maker and never fails to deliver. Old school Italian Poppa. Both Pasta and Pizza are competitively priced and there is a Gelato bar for afters.
Good pizzas. Friendly service. Alberto still working there and helping customers. Nice gelato bar that my kids enjoyed
The service is awful and the food is not worth the price, specially after you are treated in the worst rude way ever.
