Love love love this place! I'm glad they're in DP. This should be treasured. I've been coming to this place almost everyday since I discovered them last week. They have absolutely amazing and delicious baked goodies! Location's perfect... easy to find parking in front and to the side of the store. Parking in downtown DP can be a pain so where they are is a sweet spot. They don't have a big sign so might be easy to miss if you don't know where to look. On to the goodies... What makes me come by everyday is their caramel croissants. So, so good! They are flaky and fresh and the caramel is just the right amount of sweet heaven. They are not available everyday but I always get one if I ask. Anot...
They bake one of the best sourdough breads I have been able to find in Midwest! Everything else, cakes and pastries and even occasional soup and pierogi is also delicious and fresh. Every time there is a different selection of tasty cookies. And it doesn't hurt that the ladies who run this shop are super nice! It's a great addition to downtown Des Plaines. Great place to meet up with your friends and pick up some treats for folks back at home!
So lucky to have this amazing place in Des Plaines. Not only do things look beautiful, they taste even better. Croissants are light and flaky, blueberry scones are the best I've ever had, and the breakfast pizza is now possibly my new favorite thing to eat! Worry a trip here any day. So much better than any grocery or chain store could even dream of creating.
The coffee and pastries (croissant, biscuit, two different types of cookies sampled) were absolutely mouth watering. I don't think I've ever had a croissant so flaky! The ambience was warm and welcoming, just like the service. This is just the kind of place downtown Des Plaines needs!

Amazing is the perfect description for this bakery cafe! The coffee is delicious and the pastries are delightfully tasty. I will definitely be stopping there on a regular basis. Beyond excited that they opened this wonderful bakery cafe in downtown Des Plaines!
This bakery is the best!! All the pastries, breads and sandwiches are wonderful. Ladies behind counter and their Dad always there with them are extremely nice and friendly people !!! We are very lucky to have them in Des Plaines!
The breakfast pizza and the chocolate croissants are truly amazing. This place has fantastic pastries, it is super cute inside, and the sisters, who own the place, are very friendly and informative. I highly recommend.
Just bought some delicious Sour Dough bread. Fantastic selection of breads and pastries. Even sampled some fresh pizza. Looks like a great place to visit. Next time will sample the coffee.

If and when they have cupcakes- it's a must to try one or two or three. I keep hearing about their sourdough. That's next on my list. Awesome place.
