Hole in the wall places often are some of the best places; they wouldn't survive otherwise. Ameci Tustin is one of those places. It's housed in Larwin Square on Newport Avenue, which just might be Tustin's oldest shopping center. I Yelp rate holistically food quality, service, and price. Ameci definitely merits five stars. I'm a big fan of the lunch specials. You can choose from a pretty wide section of the full menu, plus a salad, plus a soft drink for around $10.00 or $11.00. When I got home and opened the bag, I discovered that the way it was packaged caused the sauce from the spaghetti and meatballs to spill out, soaking the paper bag. As a result, the spaghetti and meatballs ended up dry since all the sauce was lost (it seemed the cook didn't bother to seal the lid properly). This was really disappointing, especially since I prefer my spaghetti with a bit of spiciness. The side salad was plain but probably the best part of the meal. I tried this place once, but I won’t be going back.
Be cautious, as they do not honor advertisements or paper coupons due to inflation. They won't even add an extra topping to make up for the inconvenience. We celebrated a birthday there in August and had been loyal customers, but this will be our last visit. Perhaps the locations in LA County are better. Single pizzas, which used to be $11.99 with a carry-out coupon, are now $12.99. Our coupon was still valid, too!
It was my first time ordering from Ameci and I really liked the food! I was craving spaghetti and meatballs and got exactly what I wanted and even ordered myself some garlic bread with cheese. The 3 meatballs were juicy and they gave a bunch of marinara and pasta. The garlic cheese bread was delicious! I will definitely be back again.

Wow, I've lived in Tustin for a few years but had never eaten here. That changes today! I stopped in and picked up a Philly cheesesteak sandwich for lunch, and OMG it was so delicious, and perfectly made! So huge, I could only eat half, and had the other half for dinner. Can't wait to go back and try more of their food.
Consistently great pizza. We are new to the area and have been sampling the local pizza places and Ameci's is by far our favorite! If salads are your thing theirs are big and if you like sides the mozzarella sticks are really good too!
Ordered pizza from here. The pizza tastes like it was made from quality ingredients. The sauce is unbelievably fresh. The cheese is so stretchy. The oil they use is light and tasty. Really good pizza. My favorite in the area.
Good stuff! Their default 1-topping Large is excellent for $12.99. CARRY OUT price only... coupon honored for multiple pizzas. Wings (dry) sauce on side and Italian salad recommended. Value A+
