We have been dining at this restaurant since I was 15 years old, and now at 60 years old, we were regular customers and well-known by the staff. Over time, the quality of the food began to decline, so we took a break and tried other takeout options. However, on Saturday 30/9/2023, we decided to give it another chance, but unfortunately, the food was terrible. The bhuna was flavorless, and the chicken tikka tandoori masala was also lacking in taste and overall quality. Both curries tasted the same, despite one being ordered with a hotter sauce. Additionally, the spiced onions that we paid for were missing. Needless to say, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone...
The food from here is great! They never disappoint! However, on a couple of occasions the driver has been really rude but I put it down to him maybe having a bad day…Nah, same again tonight! I open the door and say “hello”, no response, he hands the bag over (doesn’t even look at you) and I say, “thanks very much” no response and he walks away ? What pi$$es me off, is that I have a locked gate as I have dogs (one of which is a pup) he walks out and leaves it wide open! It was closed when you came in it! Shut it, and lock it when you leave! If he doesn’t like his job, he should get a new one! He’s a rude, miserable man that shouldn’t be allowed near customers! Manners cost nothing, but he won...
I was completely disappointed with the delivery service on Saturday, January 6th. I placed my order over the phone at 4:50pm, but when I called back at 6:00pm, I was told my order was on its way. After calling again at 6:25pm, I was informed that my order was still not arrived. As a loyal customer for over 20 years, I was shocked by the lack of service and explanation for the delay. There was also no apology given. Unfortunately, I will not be using this restaurant in the future, despite the fact that their food has always been great.
I hadn’t been in this restaurant for twenty years or so and I could see that the decor hasn’t changed much, if at all, since then……..the walls are pretty grubby and could do with more than just a lick of paint. We started with Pakora which was a bit dry, not sure if they either don’t give you a sauce with it or they just forgot……next was mutter paneer and a biryani……a bit bland for both of them……..it’s a bit of a shame I really wanted to enjoy their food but you can get better nearby for probably cheaper……

Me and my partner found the place of google and saw the reviews. We were very warmly welcomed. The gentleman was very polite and friendly. We saw a wide variety of choice on the menu. Mainly focusing on chicken based dishes. The food came a quick but reason time for it to be cooked with care. The chicken was pure white and juicy. All food looked fresh and smelt great. The naan bread is the biggest I’ve seen. Can’t speak highly enough of the food. Best I’ve tasted. Very high recommend this restaurant.
I've ordered two takeaways from here recently, and both times the meals were brilliant. But both times, once when I was picking up, and the other when it was getting delivered, we've been left waiting for our food. The food is brilliant so I can understand they are busy. But please try give more realistic pickup/delivery times, or at least chuck us some free poppadoms for waiting! Great food, could do better on the service side, but easily rectified.
Quite small restaurant so booking probably essential especially at peak times. Food was excellent and service friendly The restaurant isn't licensed but you can byob without corkage charges Highly recommended for tasty Indian food on Southside of Glasgow!!
Absolutely fantastic curry recommended by lucki, service was fantastic best curry this side of Glasgow so far. Will be back again and again
