It was a delightful experience to find a piece of El Salvador in the Chicago suburbs. Ana gracefully took our order and proceeded to prepare our pupusas and tamales. It was our first visit to Ana’s Kitchen. The pupusas were just delicious, generously filled with cheese and loroco, chicharrón, and a mix of delicious flavors. The curtido and sauces that go with the pupusas were just delicious. Then the tamales, wow, the flavors took me back to my grandmother’s kitchen! We are going back this weekend to try other dishes. Take a taste of El Salvador at this small but wonderful place.
Not sure what to order?? Start with the pupusas! Pork or cheese or bean!As with many malls, there are few stores here but it's kept up really well! Take a walk after you eat on a rainy day or enjoy the sun streaming through on a nice day! In other words, any time is a good time to eat at Ana's.
First time trying Ana’s. I got the bean and cheese pupusa and my friend got the plantain plate. They were both so excellent! The lady (I hope it was Ana! was so nice and took her time to create such wonderful food. Can’t wait to come back. Definitely try her out !
First time there, ordered pastels and tamales to go. Proceded to eat the food 10 minutes later, and could not eat anything at all, everything was soaking in oil very bad. Ended up throwing all the food away unfortunately.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Delicious, great prices, plus I love its all cooked and made w love by Ana herself!
Pasteles we’re very good also. I’d recommend the cheese and pepper papupas. The tacos and other papas were good too.
This is the best authentic El Salvadoran food I've ever had! I highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant.
The staff are respectful and friendly, and the food is delicious. The tacos are consistently excellent!
