Just as first impressions matter, so do last impressions. On top of that, the price we paid felt quite high for the portion sizes, which were reminiscent of a child's serving. The food and ice cream at this restaurant are exceptional. Although the prices are somewhat higher, the portion sizes are quite generous. This year, I stopped by on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, only to find the place was closed. It felt like it might be permanently shut down. Such a disappointment!

The best homemade onion rings you can find anywhere! The ice cream is also amazing, but remember it's only available during certain seasons.
