we were here a few times. once in a past back and recently to go out. they have delicious food and we will definitely go back. I got the benji’s special and my wife got the mish mash suppe. we also have potato latkes. with the sour cream and the apple sauce they were perfect! I tried some of the mish mash suppe and we both thought it was good. we liked the benji’s special. we would definitely recommend it.

We had pastrami on rye and corned beef on rye! YUMMY! The matzo ball soup was delicious! The chicken in the soup is super fresh and yummy!!!!!!! Oh, and the cole slaw is fabulous!

I absolutely adore living in Orange County, but having spent most of my life in LA, I was used to the abundance of Jewish/New York delis. I can't believe it took me so long to discover Benjies, but their Matzo ball soup was just what I needed on a sick day. I will definitely be returning to try their sandwiches!
Benjie's is a classic and they do the Jewish delights right. They pile the meats high on the sandwiches and the chicken soup and matzo ball soup are delicious. My favorite is the Reuben and they always toast the bread perfectly! Also our waitresses were super sweet and attentive both times we've been.
This is truly a must try! Benjies has some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. They pile on the meat better than any New York style restaurant in the area, and has been in business for 50 years. You don’t stay in business that long without doing something correctly.
Always a favorite when you're in the area. Lovely, familiar, friendly wait staff. Fantastic sandwiches and food. I love this old fashioned place.
