Aposto At The Scala House

We absolutely loved Aposto! The Scala House is beautiful and we love the Sherman Hill area. Being in a historic home made the whole evening cozy and the food was fantastic. My partner and I shared the charcuterie board, cavatappi (all house made pasta), goat cheese fritta and lemon cake. We had many leftovers to take home and really appreciate the great service. Your menu is seasonal so we can not wait to go back when they change their menu for a new season!

My wife and I celebrated Valentine's Day here. It was a delightful experience. Delicious high quality plates, selection of wines and great service. The mussels were amazing. Highly recommend, make sure to book a table well in advance, you won't be disappointed.

This place is always great. Delicious food. Great service and waiters love sharing the history of the house. If you want a dinner time slot, I would recommend booking a week or two in advance. Otherwise, 8pm is usually available.

The wild bore risotto special was perfect. Not particularly visually appealing so no pic. Very warm and comfortable interior, friendly staff and strong dry martinis.

Absolutely AMAZING ATMOSPHERE... SUCH S GREAT STORY OF HOW THIS PLACE ORIGINATED... PRIVATE DINING AS WELL.. AN ABSOLUTE MUST GO TO IF IN DES MOINES IOWA
