Au petit bonheur de Fontaine

Chef Gerald Colier made us an amazing meal at his restaurant, we had risotto, steak and a wonderful apple tart for dessert. But the next night, he came to our bed and breakfast to prepare evening meal with cooking demonstrations for our large group. This meal was wonderful from start to finish. Watching Chef Colier cook was a fun experience and his love and passion for excellent was transparent. We had a wonderful fish dish to start and then veal roast for the main course followed up with a decadent chocolate mousse. Amazing!

We with our 3 children were the only guests on a very quiet evening. A guest at the bar playing the jukebox was the only compagnion of Gérald who was both the cook and the waiter. Surprisingly top notch cuisine, truly nice. And when asked to choose a Burgundy from the wine list within a given budget, he did not choose the priciest but the best in his view. Would go again.

it is not necessarily easy to find and there is not really parking to park, but we do not regret this stage for lunch. the kitchen is home with fresh products. dishes are limited and you will find the pleasure of a simple meal but with taste and especially a small price. It's nice.
