AU TRAPPEUR - Reserva de mesa

After the first two successful visits to Trappeur, I was excited to take my two friends for their first time. Greeted immediately, sat down and drinks order had been taken - everything was going as it should be. We chose the food and managed to get even a gluten free order correct even with a slight language barrier. After ordering, that's where it went down hill. The clock was ticking and we were getting hungrier and hungrier. 45 minutes (with only 2 other tables in the restaurant) after ordering, just as I was about to mention the wait time to the waiter, our food arrived. Luckily the delicious meals made up for the long wait. Would visit again but fingers crossed for a quicker service

Went here after friends recommended it. We were very disappointed. From the moment we sat down we noticed how dirty everything was.We came in for lunch around 12. I assume we were some of the first guests so it must mean the restaurant hadn't been cleaned since the day before (at least).We ordered a glass of rose which came out on room temperature.The state of the toilet was cringe worthy.The burgers were very mediocre, all we could think of was how dirty the kitchen probably was if the toilet and restaurant were this bad...

Had lunch with some friends today. Had the dish of the day and it was fantastic. Duck breast!!!.My friends and various burgers and said they were really good. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, lots of ski instructors and friends hanging out. Only down side was slow service, over an hour to get our main course, it did not matter to us as we were chatting and enjoying the rest. No a place for fast food I guess. Highly recommended!!!

One of the best burger I've ever had, the meat is excellent and the French fries are home made, they have also a good choice of American beers... If you want to eat something else than a gorgeous burger you can try the daily "menu" it's a single dish original and fresh, they serve real American food as good as in the best burger places of Chicago ;-)Good job Mathieu ;-) Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a place that has changed hands on a regular basis so hope the current format worksThis time it's a gourmet burger restaurant and I must say it puts the UK versions to shame. Giant burgers. Very tasty and with chips and a salad.Will be revisiting and hope it's still there when I come back with the kidsNB No sun terrace but can sit outside

Visited here for first time this year. Good fair and enjoyed the burger. Accommodating and good staff. Small and intimate place and friendly. Good experience. Would recommend. Young kids enjoyed it too

Recommended to us as 'the best burger in town', we thoroughly enjoyed our colossal burger and fries here. The atmosphere was pleasant although could have been a little warmer inside.

Nice big soggy burgers, and home made fries. Place doesn't look too inviting for a cozy dinner but OK for a quick bite. They deliver as well. Definitely recommend! Reserva una mesa ahora

excellent burger, fast service, decent beer. it is just a small place and book probably advisable, but definitiw a visit worth

The best burger you can find at alpe d'huez and forward! You have some choice for eat, and American beer ! Enjoy
