Had dinner with my wife here last night, a place we have frequented a few times as its local. Most choices were OK but one that we ordered (slow braised octopus) was very ordinary. When the waiter asked if everything was OK, we'd left the dish uneaten as the octopus was soggy (watery)and had no flavour whatsoever, she dismissed this as irrelevant given it was a slow braised dish??? I challenged her "opinion" that was how it was supposed to be and again she pretty much wasn't interested and dismissed our complaint. Fui allí por la semana de restaurante especial de medio precio. Teníamos 3 entrantes y 2 platos principales y 1 plato lateral. El Toung de la ternera no es fresco, puedes decir por su textura y gusto. El ceviche de vieira es refrescante y de sabor picante. El chef en este restaurante parece amar demasiado la acidez en los platos, todas las comidas tienen un fuerte sabor a ácido. Mi compañero de comedor no le gustó, pero estoy bien con eso. El paté de hígado de pato es bueno pero no genial. Los platos principales están bien cocinados, sin embargo, los ingredientes no son de alto nivel. En los monos, la comida vale la pena una visita durante la semana del restaurante.
Went there on the half price special restaurant week. We had 3 entree and 2 mains and 1 side dish. The veal toung is not fresh, you can tell from its texture and taste. The scallop ceviche is refreshing and pungent taste. The chef in this restaurant seems to love acidity in the dishes too much, all the meals have a strong acid taste. My dining partner did not like it, but I am ok with it. The duck liver pate is good but not great. The mains are well cooked however the ingredients are not of high standard. On overalls, the food is worth a visit during restaurant week.

El restaurante es una gema oculta en la zona. Hermosas paredes de arenisca y bastante íntimo pero tranquilo. La comida es de muy alta calidad y es un muy buen restaurante para un bonito lugar confiable. Los filetes son excelentes y, por lo general, el menú contiene cuatro principales (un plato de cordero, pescado, carne de res y vegetariana) más algunos especiales. Puede reservar sobre Dimmi, que también es una gran ventaja. El bistec era muy grande, pero se esconde en la foto que subía.
Lugar agradable y excelente servicio. La grupa de carne de carne de Wagyu fue recomendada por otros, así que lo di un intento. Todo está bien hasta que lo vi en el plato, el bistec se cortó en 4 piezas, y las aberturas ya estaban mostrando signos de secado (nuestra mesa tuvo 6 platos, así que asumí que estaba cortada y sentada en un lugar de advertencia mientras esperaba para que otros platos estén listos). Aparte de eso, todo era bueno.
Restaurant is a hidden gem in the area. Beautiful sandstone walls and quite intimate but quiet. The food is very high quality and it is a very good restaurant for a reliable nice dinner venue. The steaks are great and usually the menu contains four mains (a lamb dish, fish, beef and vegetarian) plus some specials. Can book on Dimmi which is also a huge plus. The steak was very large but is hiding in the photo I uploaded.
Nice venue and great service. The wagyu beef rump was recommended by others so I gave it a try. It's all good until I saw it on the plate, the steak was cut into 4 pieces, and the openings were already showing signs of drying (our table had 6 dishes arrived, so I assumed it was cut and sitting in a warning place while waiting for other dishes to be ready). Other than that, it was all good.

El ambiente aquí es muy amable, inteligente casual y accesible. Nos sentamos en el área al aire libre para tomar unas copas y una hermosa pastel de olla. El pasto se cocinó perfectamente con un relleno de salsa a fuego lento y felicitó el vino tinto que estaba bebiendo. También hay un restaurante elegante dentro del pub que parece prometedor y estaré encantado de probarlo pronto.
