This restaurant is a great alternative when I want to avoid a 30 to 45-minute drive to Banh Mi DC or Eden Center. I always receive friendly and prompt service here. The lady at the counter is very nice and enjoys chatting with me, but she can sometimes forget what I just ordered, so I make sure to double-check my order before leaving. They offer a variety of fillings, with the Kim Lan sandwich being the most expensive option. Prices range from about $7 to $8 or more for one banh mi, and unfortunately, there's no "buy 5, get 1 free" deal available.
I’m really glad to find a great banh mi place in the west Fairfax area! I've ordered from here a few times, and it's been consistently good each time. The bread and ingredients are always fresh. I've tried several sandwiches, but my favorites are the Cha Lua and the Ga. They also offer a variety of summer rolls, including shrimp and grilled or sliced Vietnamese pork, which are great options as well. There are other menu items I haven't tried yet, like pork spring rolls and dessert drinks. Overall, this place is fantastic!
Hidden gem close to Dulles Airport. I came here with my two sons, ages 9 and 2.5, after a visit to the close-by Udvar-Hazy Air&Space Museum. The location is tucked into the middle of a little shopping center. The shop is clean and minimally decorated. Kim Banh Mi is definitely the best in Hampton Roads! I've tried all the banh mi places around, and I have to say that they excel in freshness, cleanliness, and friendliness. I usually don't give a 5-star rating unless it's truly deserved, but this place has it all—fantastic food, high-quality ingredients, and excellent service. Keep up the great work! Best Bahn Mi I've had since Vietnam! No frills, simple and delicious Bahn Mis. Pork is sweet and crispy. Chicken is flavorful and moist. Fresh veggies on a buttery baguette finish off the classic sandwich. If you don't like spice tell them to hold the jalapeños. Try a couple egg rolls too to supplement your meal. You know it's good when local Vietnamese come here all day long.
This is my absolute favorite spot for banh mi. The sandwiches are incredibly delicious, the drinks are quite good, and the prices are fantastic. I always feel good about popping in for a grilled pork banh mi and a Vietnamese iced coffee for lunch. The women at the counter might not speak perfect English, but the menu is simple, and the service is fast and easy.
Banh Mi Kim Lan is a cozy Vietnamese sandwich shop that offers a selection of ten different Banh Mi options, along with a few snacks. We decided to try the #1 Banh Mi, along with the pork steamed buns and some egg rolls. The Banh Mi was delicious and certainly ranks among the best in the area.
This is a good place to get your banh mi fix. I've ordered from here several times and the sandwich is consistently good. Pricing is fair, veggies are fresh, and the meat is tasty. Once the bread was a little crunchy, not stale though, but that seems to be the outlier from my experience.

Edit: recently they sold me frozen cold food. It is no longer enjoyable to eat their banh mi , so I changed from 5 stars to 2 stars. Authentic and delicious, don 't be let down by the bland interior or the oblivious attitude of the owner. The food is better than several other places.
