Like most everyone else leaving a 1 star review, I am a half black woman who was wearing dark purple and black tie-dye biker shorts (Lululemon) and a long sleeve sparkly black crop top (aka, I was looking BOMB). The bouncer refused me for the biker shorts and when I asked why he said dress code To which I replied my outfit is clearly for going out purposes I wouldn't go to the gym in this and he simply said it's athletic wear lol ok. Tonight I had the worst experience here. Staff and owner were very rude and from what I could see prejudice. My first time there I was told that my knee length biker shorts were not apart of dress code and that I needed to change in order to get in. After leaving and going home to return an hour later they then refused to let my husband in stating that he was not dressed correctly. This was not said when I was turned around prior though. The door staff was rude and the owner spoke very smart. I was sent home to change but watched them let guys in with athletic shorts on. Very bad experience and not a place for people of color
I really don't understand how this place is still in business. They were charging a $20 cover on a night when there were hardly any customers inside. I was with a group of 10 people, and when we finally got in, I ordered a drink for $6.50, which was only lukewarm. They declined my request for a replacement. Given the number of bars in the area, you'd think they would provide better service to their customers. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere! I recommend avoiding this place and choosing from the many bars that don't have such outrageous cover charges!
My wife and I came in for dinner and there was no hostess to greet us. There was this huge private party going on that took up half the restaurant. We waited several minutes before finally going up to the bar and asked to be seated. The response was I'm not sure let me go ask the manager. We waited several more minutes before asking someone else. The same answer.... I don't know let me ask someone. So we just left to eat somewhere else. Very disappointing for out of towners like us that have heard good things about this place.

I experienced the worst service I've ever had at this restaurant. It took two hours for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, our orders were incorrect. The waitress never checked in on us regarding our food. We had come from the city for a concert, but we missed the beginning of it due to the slow service. We would have canceled our orders and left earlier, but our waitress couldn't locate our food.
I think the owners. Get a bad rap. For being to hard on their employees.If you are doing what you're supposed to, the best service, time in and time againIs tough to get anywhere, in this city or any city in America.If you don't demand excellence, from yourself, I'm pretty sure your employer should.Food, tables, drinks. Top notch. No games. Just right. Great people.
slower service and over an hour to get food and we did not get everything. had not asked that the waitress removed her from the bill because we thought that would take it forever. the only thought, fun was the girl who tends to bath. she is great
I was extremely well looked after by the staff, who are numerous and professional. They had enough Irish potations, including some lovely top-shelf whiskeys, to make the Gael in me happy.

The bar is lovely, with a beautiful outdoor area and a charming interior. The tables are well-chosen, and I especially loved the natural wood log and limb liquor display.
Had the Barley Burger and it was so yummy. Egg and coleslaw is a surprisingly good combination over corned beef and burger patties.
