Barretts Restaurant @ Pullman Magenta Shores

The included breakfast in our room meant we were here every morning. Great service, decent variety in the menu, good food in general and appreciative for the staff's flexibility for dietary needs.The high tea was okay. Just okay. Pricier than I'd like for what we got but that's fine. I wasn't expecting party pies on a high tea platter to be honest.Unfortunately had to cancel dinner reservations here so can't comment on that but ordered some burgers as takeout which they graciously delivered to our room. Burgers and chips were great.Overall it's a great place. Good ambiance and great service. Prices are on the high side but the food is above average and you can't beat the location.

Just had the worst Christmas Day of my life. Handed a warm flat champagne on arrival. Staff fumbled over our booking. No side plates for bread. Wine served by the glass hot. Air-conditioning hopeless. Food ordinary. Menu didn't mention shared plates and alternate drops at booking. My husband ordered a beer, a can was placed on the table, no glass provided. We left before dessert arrived disgusted. Don't put yourself through the pain.

Great Chinese food! Fresh ingredients which is key to good food. Had the Kung Po chicken and i've not had better. Price $15 is reasonable Good variety of

I popped the question last night at the ocean restaurant (discretely - the staff or other patrons didn't know) and it topped of another perfect meal.

We all enjoyed our meal. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely go back.
