I visited a chippy in Barton that unfortunately does not excel at cooking chips. The chips were bland, tasteless, undercooked, and excessively greasy. The kebab meat was also undercooked, cold, and lacked flavor. I ended up throwing the food away and getting something elsewhere from a place that knows how to cook. I initially wanted to support the local community, but this establishment either needs new ownership or should consider closing. It's difficult to find the right words to convey just how poor the dining experience was.
I visited this restaurant last Saturday and have not had the opportunity to leave a review until now. I would not recommend wasting your money or time at this place. The chips were mediocre, the battered sausage was tasteless and poorly covered in batter, and the pie was so awful that I feel like I could have thrown it at a wall and it would have bounced back and hit me in the face. The food here is of poor quality and it is obvious that none of it is fresh.
I ordered from this restaurant through Just Eat for our anniversary meal, as we couldn't go out. After placing the order and processing payment, I received an email 30 minutes later stating that it had been cancelled. There was no explanation or apology provided. This will be the first and last time I order from this restaurant.
I have ordered from Barton Chippy three times recently, and each time has been fantastic. The food was delivered quickly, cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. The prices were also very reasonable. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you for the excellent service.

Only asking as the food seems to have gone proper down hill? I Bought two large meat feast pizzas last week that had hardly any meat on them at all and today Large cod and chips that contained so much grease i couldn't eat it? Whats going on
In my opinion, this is the best kebab in the Kettering area. The meat is fresh, the salad is fresh, and the chips are delicious. This place is a hidden gem, but I recommend picking up your order as the delivery service isn't great.
To be honest we can’t fault the place. Love the pizzas especially as they are BOGOF. Red hot and tasty. We had Hawaiian and Veggie tonight and Chips were good too.
The restaurant advertised that they were open until 11 pm, so I made a special trip at 9:50 to get a meal, only to find that they were closed.

Always get the best food and service here, would highly recommend to everyone! Jim is always so friendly and runs a brilliant chippy!
I would like to thank Barton Chippy personally for the expired 7up they delivered to me last night. It was absolutely terrible!
