The Stirrup Cup - Reserva de mesa

I last reviewed here 18 months ago. Delighted to report it has maintained its high standards. Welcoming and friendly staff overseeing an ideal 'lounge ' for dining. Huge range of food options that, crucially for me, are cooked well, with obvious care. Good size mains with potato options and seasonal veg that taste as they should (obvious, but not always ubiquitous! . Sensible pricing yields value for money. Looking for an 'even better if ' to prove I have no vested interest? maybe serve the lovely gravy in a separate little jug; I loved it but a few of you might want to have less.

My first visit since 1985, food is a revelation, good honest pub grub, served hot, full of flavour, with perfectly cooked seasonal veg and excellent value. It would not have been possible to squeeze any more tender steak into steak pie and as for the homemade beef 1/2lb burger...wow. I won't leave it so long next time.

8 of us met up to discuss our plans for Christmas. It was the night of the England v France World Cup game. This was being shown in the restaurant but it did not impact on our evening at all. We ate from the Christmas menu. The portions were generous and the meals where appropriate were piping hot. Friendly service.

Yesterday my partner and I visited this great pub to try out some of the food on the menu.Lets just say a return visit is definitely on the cards.Friendly bar staff a lovely waitress and the food we chose Delicious.Thankyou once again for an enjoyable few hours with you.Very best wishes Andy+Dave xxx Reserva una mesa ahora

Came for lunch having never been before. There were a few things unavailable but we were told this before ordering. Every effort was made to accommodate my mum who is df/gf. Kids meals were particularly good value and great portion sizes. Really enjoyed our lunch and I’m sure we’ll be back

My group of friends are keen breakfast lovers and have sampled several local venues, The Stirrup Cup at Barton Seagrave is head and shoulders above the competition, not only in quality but price too. They have become a regular brekky venue for us now.

Love this pub eat here regularly, today I had the chilli which was delicious, my Husband had the steak pie, mash and vegetables he said, it's the best pie he has ever had, absolutely delicious and full of tender beef!, we will be back soon.

Great pub on the housing estate. Looks like a converted and extended house. Lunch menu and food excellent. Large pub, restaurateur and terrace area. Lots of TV for sports with pool tables. Value for money Reserva una mesa ahora

We had Sunday roast dinner here last Sunday and all I can say is “WOW”!! THE best value for money Sunday roast we have ever had. Absolutely fantastic and will definitely be coming back!!

This place is a gem too the local area ! Fantastic food and service. Always greeted with a smile and banter …. Clean and tidy threw out also great value and fresh tasty cooked food.
