Basilico's Pizzeria

I absolutely adore deep dish pizza, but have never been able to find a vegan version until now! After 11 years of searching, I finally stumbled upon a place that serves deep dish Sicilian pizza. It is hands down the best pizza I have ever tasted. The crust has just the right amount of crispiness and the cheese is out of this world. My boyfriend and I are completely obsessed with it. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is a must-try! We are willing to drive over an hour just to indulge in this delicious pizza whenever we have the chance. My husband and I visited this restaurant on a Friday night and despite it being busy, the service was still excellent and friendly! We tried the vegan Sicilian pie which was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the crust. The restaurant is divided into three different seating areas - a slice seating area, a casual pizza restaurant with pastas, and a fancy bar restaurant. This concept is very unique and cool! The bathrooms in the middle of the second and third sections have ADA stalls. Overall, a great experience! (Review updated on May 27, 2023)

I have been wanting pizza for a while now since transitioning to a vegan diet. I noticed this restaurant, which I drive by frequently, was listed on Happy Cow so I decided to give it a try for lunch today. I ordered the Vegan Sicilian pizza and it did not disappoint. The staff were very accommodating and even though they have specific vegan options on the menu, the waiter informed me that I could also substitute vegan mozzarella on any pizza. I'm not sure what brand of vegan mozzarella they use, but it was delicious.

have really eaten pizza for something since go vegan. I saw that this place (which I drove past a dozen times in the week) was listed here on happy cow and decided to stay this afternoon. I have the vegan sicily and was absolutely not disappointed. they were super courtesy and also besides their designated vegan options said the waiter, they can order in the round any pizza with vegan mozzarella. I love deep dish pizza that I have never been in the position, a vegan version of! after 11 years I finally found a place that makes deep dish Sicilian pizza. it is really the most perfect pizza. only the correct amount of herb on the chest and the cheese is the best. my friend and I are obsessed. I can't recommend this place enough, don't give up! we're going a little over an hour to get this pizza when we have the time. updated by previous review on 2022-06-04

that ordered it today and it was fantastic! I had also added tweepers, and it definitiw brought a little more taste! very affordable for how much they give them. would definitely try their other pizzas
