Bastide De Capelongue- Edouard Loubet

An interesting evening. My wife and I were there for our 60th birthdays. The clientele was primarily English speaking. The service was staunch. The menu was more interesting than good. With a modest bottle of wine, we spent over $400 for an interesting menu. Personally, I would have rather gone into town for a good meal at 1/4 the price. The menu is fixed but there are 2 menus to choose from. My wife and I tried to sit next to each other, but they would not serve us next to each other only across. The sun was blaring in my wife's eyes. We asked the server, or order takers, to lower the shades, and he said they were broken. They clearly were not. However, the couple sitting next to us were in tee shirts and sneakers. So, they are strict on where you sit, but not what you wear. So come here in your swimsuit. The challenge with the restaurant was also evident in check in at the hotel. While the setting is picturesque, the experience here has not been. We will not be back.

bet for this young chef who takes over the double starred restaurant of the loubet. In fact, the large lubricant menu served in a pretty courtyard has marvelled us. perfect cooking, exquisite flavours, a friendly service, and a charming chef. In short, it won't take much time before the stars, already in our eyes and taste buds, replace this michelin plate. Maybe a little bemool for the assortment mets-vins. choosing between a assortment to € and per person is a little damage and perhaps a little overvalued. but we will gladly return to our pleasure in this delightful setting.

cuisine full of promises, association of flavors present. the service is not worthy of a gourmet restaurant. I asked for the wine card after my entry was served, I had to get up several times to serve myself the wine., reactivity of the rank leader who brought me the bottle of the table and the comble to dessert, the sommelier that we saw only at the aperitif, came to the dessert precipitously to serve us the only glass of the dinner, surprise the bottle was empty!

an exceptional place, a decor as you dream of: a nice service and small care. but above all a beautiful card filled with delights (we chose the small lubricant menu a sommelier and a new chef who will go up to the firmament.

Beautiful location with unique facial facialities. Light and refined kitchen. Very kind and smooth service.
