Bâton Rouge Steakhouse

Very disappointed with my experience yesterday afternoon. Or November 15. I asked for a medium well-cooked filet mignon at the beginning and I was highly recommended medium pink trace).. I am asked if I want pepper sauce, yes let's see who eats it dry, but not included then +2$ for the sauce, ridiculous already considering the price of the plate). Finally, my steak arrived rare, almost blue in the center. For one, the cook should review his cooking because he escaped! My companion's ribs were cold.. yes I was offered a free $11 dessert. Excellent service from Gabrielle, but the beef entrecôte steak contained too much nerve. Damage. It's very expensive for nothing. The shrimp tempura was delicious. The benches are too low compared to the floor. So that my knees are higher than my pelvis when I sit. However, I am not very tall. 5'4 (1m63 . I can't imagine how men's pelvis must hurt when they get up from there! The atmosphere is perfect. Yesterday Dec 31st we ordered food from Baton rouge.. I should take pictures but I didn't. We ordered Parpadelle which is 40$ plate and we ordered 2.. well I was really disappointed.. I didn't had any meat in mine.. only shrimp and petoncle and way too much mushrooms.. and the other meal was bigger than mine and had everything.. I ordered tartare which was good. I ordered garlic bread, it was not even melted. Almost 200$ and it sucked. Don't think it's the same cook during the week.. on the weekend it's way better.

The service here was top-tier from start to finish. The hostess quickly put her phone call on hold to show us to a table immediately. Our server, Robert, was attentive and friendly. To top it off, another staff member (Chloe) ran halfway across the parking lot to give us our takeout container that we forgot. We will definitely be coming back. First time coming to Baton Rouge in Vaudreuil and it was amazing. I ordered an apricot alcoholic beverage and the seasonal Australian Wagyu steak with a side salad. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Would 100% come again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
