Don?t bother to order from this place. The food is below average and the portion size is less too. They don?t follow instructions and overall service is not good. This is the $22 tandoori platter. Very disappointing. The portion size wasminuscule. Tandoori platter description ?Different types of meat served I the same platter chicken tikka/malai chicken/haryalichicken/lamb chops and shrimps)? It was a joke. Same for chicken biryani, it had few little cubes of chicken with some rice.
Went to Bay Leaf for late lunch yesterday and just loved the food. It was late in the lunch hour on a slow day just before 4th of July. We had samosa, cheesenan, black dal, malai methi murg and raita with mango lassis. The taste was heavenly and not too adjusted to American taste but reasonably spicy. Regrettably, we ordered too many things and couldn't finish the curries but would have loved to. Very good value for money.
I ate there couple months ago the food was delicious so I decided to do the delivery order ,the food came ahead of time which is good but the food was not the same taste. The peas were still raw. It felt like a rush meal. The spices wasn’t as strong and tasty as when I ate inside the restaurant no more delivery order for me.
Had the pani puri and sugarcane juice, loved the flavor of both! The sugar Cane juice was fresh pressed and tasted Devine. Was a lil upset over the portion size, a kiddy cup of juice for $5. If the taste wasn’t as good as it was I’d say the price wasn’t worth it. I hope they start serving a regular size cup of the juice. Reserva una mesa ahora
The food is flavorful, however, if the dish is supposed to have chicken (for example), there is adequate sauce, but not enough of the main ingredient. Also, each dish should arrive with a separate bowel of rice, since there is a lot of sauce.
If you don’t know what Indian food tastes like, this place is probably fine. We ordered biryani. We got yellow rice with some sautéed chicken in a sweet sauce. If they can’t do biryani, I wish they didn’t have it on their menu
It was truly a treat to eat at this establishment. They have so many vegetarian options. I will be making this a regular stop when I'm in New Jersey. The staff was very attentive and accommodating.
We waited over 30 minutes and no one took our order, we told the waiter we wanted to order multiple times, he ignored us and poorly managed the restaurant. We walked out and he didn't even care. Reserva una mesa ahora
The food is consistently very good. The seasonings are just right! The staff is ALWAYS friendly and attentive.
