Not all chickens are created equal. The crunchiness, flavor, moisture level, and sauce all come together to create a chicken experience that truly delights. I visited Kokio Chicken twice, and both times I left feeling disappointed. While the food has great flavor and the atmosphere is pleasant, it just didn't meet my expectations. Great concept!
Did the chef change? I bought a sandwich set today. The fried chicken is very soft. It's not tasty, the vegetables in it are not fresh, and the bread is soggy. The fries were also soft. Overall, last visit. This store is my favorite store in the past few years. Not sure why this bad experience? Will not go again for insurance.
Do not recommend. I ordered the whole half and half chicken. The original chicken was OK at best. The garlic was awful. Ended up throwing it out. The corn cheese was basically canned corn (with the water still in it) with cheese melted on the top. Definitely disappointed- especially sonce it was not cheap AT ALL.
We got there at 10:10PM on a Thursday, and they were closed with no signage on their door or anything. Apple, Maps, Google Maps, Yelp, and even their own website all say they're open until 11:30PM. Can I give this place 0 star? Absolutely horrible customer service, the dude at the counter wouldn 't even feel like talking to the customer. When I asked him for plates for our food, he told us we don 't have plates while there are two big stacks of porcelain plates behind him.
The five-piece chicken strip meal was delicious and fresh, crispy, flavorful, and generously portioned. The fries, onion rings, ranch dressing, Thousand Island sauce, and sandwich were all very enjoyable and incredibly tasty. I highly recommend it for the fresh quality!
I dined with a coworker, and the experience was quite straightforward. The hostess was very attentive and, since I tend to mumble, I appreciated her patience as well.
