Beaux Daddy's Grillhouse

My girlfriend and I just got home from one of the most amazing meals we had the pleasure of enjoying! I had the jambalaya with rice and asked for extra heat! My girl ordered the blackened salmon with asparagus. She is a cook with 25 years experience and was blown away with the quality of the food and service, as was I. The jambalaya was absolutely incredible and the spice was perfect! Truly one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. She even wanted to talk to the chef and tell him how incredible the meal was. but he was busy lol. This is now our favourite place to dine in Thunder Bay! I don't think we will find anything close to beaux daddy's quality. and the service was phenomenal...

We've had mixed experiences here in the past and although it's been up and down, we came here to eat after a long and very tiring day. To be fair, it was 1/2 hour before close and the menu was limited because of that so in a sense I guess that's good since I know that what I'm eating will not be a reheat again the next day! The server was very pleasant and we discovered that she went to school with our youngest son. The food was a fair portion and warm on this visit so that's a plus. I will always be skeptical about this place as we've tried on 4 separate occasions and it's been 50/50 but in a pinch when wanting more than a burger or fries, this is a good sit down dining experience if the ti...

This little gem is about 5 minutes outside then city on highway 61. The food here is delicious, but you have to be very patient as the service is always slow. Wednesday is wing night, offering some of the best wings the city had to offer. Yes, you can get gluten free food here, including wings. If you go there and ask for the "Heather order" you will get gluten free medium wings baked in the oven for however many minutes till they're perfect.

The door plaque heard according to the Board of Health stated the restaurant was a B, this is exactly what I would write it as a bee restaurant. The food was inconsistent, our wings were very good, but they shrimp was less than palatable. My escargot, was fair at best. Ambience was OK, except it look like it had been 15 years since they change the wallpaper which is peeling off the walls… It will be my last trip to Beaux Daddy's

An old supper club renovated to a Cajun grill house. We had excellent appetizers and meals. Lobster bisque was good, wings are huge and tasty, Jambalaya was not too spicy but very good. The ribs were recommended and didn't disappoint. Local craft beer available and a fun time all around. I got the discount of my age on my birthday. Oh, and have the toffee pudding with caramel sauce for dessert.

I had the coconut lime chicken however was disappointed with my meal. There really wasnt any coconut or lime flavour and seemed more like a fried battered chicken. The service was excellent! The ambience was a bit odd..like a mardi gras theme.

I had an outstanding Chicken Pantalba dish and it was tough to choose from so many great options. They do it right, lots of flavor and good meats. Service was good, the decor is appropriate. It is pricey so come for a nice occasion.

I've been working my way through the menu after 4 visits. All good. Chef J. McKenzie always has a moment to talk about the food. He explained his farm to table method of developing the menu. Staff are friendly and efficient.

We went there with friends and had a decent meal. There was really nothing spectacular about it. The food was good, good service but nothing really outstanding.
