The tendon and tripe appetizer was excellent, the beef brisket noodle soup was amazing, and the shrimp radish soup was great. The crystal shrimp dumplings were a bit doughy but still tasty, while the soup dumplings were just average. The fish in chili oil was outstanding, and the whole fried fish was very good (avoid if you don't like catfish or carp). The double cooked pork belly was good but not what we were expecting, while the lo mein was mediocre and lacked substance. Overall, it was a good experience and we will definitely return. Highly recommended dishes include the fish in chili oil, tendon and tripe appetizer, shrimp radish soup, and beef brisket soup.
My favorite Szechuan restaurant, clearly authentic Beijing House offers different dishes and combos. Sauces are thick. Flavors are strong. Service is pleasant and efficient. Simple, clean, bright decor. I would appreciate additional vegan choices on the menu. The Wood Ear Mushroom with Chinese yam is vegan and amazing. Avoid the spicy Mapo. I recommend the delish, flavorful Tofu Hot Pot and Stir Fried String Beans I see reviews about a rude, gruff waitress. I understand this turns customers away. I've been fortunate to always visit and experience a kind waitress. Avoid the angry waitress and Tuesdays if possible
Ok, this place is not your prototypical American Chinese restaurant. More on the authentic Sichuan Chengdu style cuisine. Hot Pot, Mapo Tofu, and Red Chilli style food. Also, the are many Asian Patrons inside and that's always a good sign. If you're going to compare this place to Flushing or NYC Chinatown, then don't go here. But for Nassau County, especially on Jericho Turnpike in the heart of Syosset, this place is pretty good. Nice staff, but they could be a little more on top of things. Clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.
Noticed hadn’t updated my review and was back here last year. Well, things changed. Brought fairly large group including family to dinner there. After paying the bill and leaving a reasonable tip, the waitress came to the table and, not at all quietly, complained and argued about said tip. I’ve never seen or heard anything like it. Likely trying to guilt me into a bigger tip. I asked to see her manager who was not there. I left and she was yelling “this is America.” Bathrooms were gross this time. Did not seem like a business, trying to make money pleasing its customers. I charged back her tip.

Today is Nov 9th. We went in at 8.30, and the staff said that they can only accommodate take out... no sit in. The sign outside stated that they are open until 9.30 pm, and I pointed it out to them... the staff just said yeah, we know Clearly we were not going to eat after that, but what surprised me was that they did not seem apologetic about not serving even after it was pointed out Clearly an absentee owner run business Anyone who owns a business would not turn down customers when there is still an hour to service a customer
Purchased a takeout today and brought my 10% off coupon with me that came in from the mail. You know what they said? They said we haven’t updated the price yet so we can’t honor the coupon…I’m like are you serious? First of all, you should not send out coupon if you are not ready? Lastly you can’t just raise price so you can do 10% coupon….also one of the food, beef stew noodle soup has only 4 pieces of meat and lettuce and they charged you 17 bucks…just not a good experience overall…will not go back again!!
Excellent mapo tofu,garlic eggplant,shrimp with cabbage beef chow fun dishes today! Pretty authentic I should say. My pastor and his wife enjoyed it very much.Service can be a little more sophisticated but hey that may be due partially to language and culture… PS: After I wrote this review, I realized I left my credit card at the restaurant! Alas, but they kept it for last 48 hours and when I called in, they answered that they have it. Thank you ladies!
This restaurant offers an authentic Long Island dining experience without the need to travel to Queens or the city. The menus are user-friendly, with plenty of pictures to assist in making decisions. While the prices are slightly higher compared to Flushing and Chinatown, the savings on gas make up for the difference.

I ordered takeout from this place and was extremely disappointed. Their wonton soup was overly spicy and salty, making it almost unpalatable. The spring rolls were also dry and bland. I can only hope that dining in at the restaurant provides a better experience.
My husband love this place so we go. You will surprised when you get the check!! Enjoy good quality Chinese dishes !!
