As of July 16, 2023, I once again had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The Grass Fed Burger was delicious, the desserts were decadent, and the staff was outstanding! Our server Eleanor was exceptional at her job, professional, personable, and genuinely nice. If I had a business, Eleanor is someone I would want on my team - she is a real star! Our busboy Jose was also fantastic and a real gem. I will definitely be coming back again! Another amazing dinner at Rustic Root in Woodbury. AMAZING WEEKEND BRUNCH! Such a great meal at rustic root with cute earthy aesthetics. Super family friendly as well lots of kids and families. We got the crispy chicken sandwich with regular fries, burger with truffle fries, lox flatbread, and harvest salad. My favorites were the chicken sandwich and lox flatbread chicken was perfectly crispy and super moist, the lox was perfectly salty and smooth! The salad was disappointing because it was super overdressed. The apples were tart but the dressing was also very acidic so it was a double acidic dish which was a bit unpleasant. Usually, I give an establishment a few visits before writing a review, but I'm so impressed with this restaurant I have to comment after only 1 visit. From the roses on the table to the napkins in the bathroom, Rustic Roots is white glove service minutes the stuffiness and formality. The wait staff was absolutely amazing, and the food delicious. Get the skillet cornbread and the crispy chicken sandwich with extra jalapeno aioli. Oh my God, I wish I were eating that right now. Salt and vinegar fries were delicious too. Unfortunately a very good restaurant goes to the dogs!! After many years dining at Rustic Root, due to tragic circumstances, the restaurant was sold. Looking forward to branzino, off the menu, ordered a burger. The server, although very nice, explained “medium” upon ordering. Burger arrived very well done. Manager offered to take it back, however appetite was gone. We told the manager we would take it home and give it to our dogs. Manager offered drinks, I declined. The restaurant offers excellent food and service with fresh, high-quality ingredients. It has a cozy neighborhood atmosphere, but tends to be on the more expensive side, more in line with fine dining establishments in Manhattan or Brooklyn. I plan on returning to try their appetizers and drinks. My only complaint is that none of the food was served piping hot - everything was mostly warm, even the cornbread and pasta dish. Despite this, overall it is a solid dining choice.

I went to celebrate my friend's birthday for brunch. The hostess and waitress were both so sweet and genuinely excited for my friend's birthday and treated us very well. Our water was always full and we were checked on frequently. The egg sandwich was delicious. We even got some mocktails (the Rich Girl was perfect for brunch) and dessert, complete with a candle for the birthday girl. Beautiful little spot with ample parking, great drink choices and friendly staff.

Although I typically don't enjoy their style of cuisine, such as roasted beets, I decided to try the BBQ ribs and fries at this restaurant yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty and meaty they were. The service was exceptional, with friendly and funny staff. The drinks were also fantastic. The owner always made sure to greet us with a welcoming smile and thank us for visiting. The restaurant offers a good variety of dishes to cater to different tastes.

One of the best meals we have had in a while! Burger was cooked perfectly got the garlic mash instead of fries and was very happy with that choice! Brussel sprouts were awesome and the corn bread was deliciously buttery and crisp! The truffle piazzetta was a little too salty but overall pretty damn good. Our waitress took good care of us. Absolutely fantastic restaurant! Really great drinks, food, and atmosphere. Cozy and small with a friendly but timely wait staff. I had the mussels which were fantastic and the burger. Highly recommend!

Skillet Cornbread is so good. First eating cornbread with real coin. Also sweet corn is fresh and from meters farm daily! Beef burgers and organic chicken wings are also delicious!!
