We wanted to try Zov's Bistro and found this restaurant next to it and packed of people. I smelled all the delicious food and was surprised that yelp never recommended this restaurant in Tustin. We ended up changing our mind to give it a try since I have never tried Malaysia cuisine and love trying something new. We ordered calamari, crab rangoon, and a cup of hot and sour soup as appetizers. It was the best fried calamari we ever had, super flavorful and crispy good quality calamari. It was not over breaded or double fried like a lot of fried calamari from other restaurants. Also the best fresh hot and sour soup I have ever had, the peppers the egg and the vinegar just exactly the right por...

Now, onto the food. We began with 20 satay sticks, a mix of lamb and chicken. They appeared to be fried rather than traditionally grilled, which added a unique and appealing flavor. The dipping sauce featured peanuts but was much less overpowering than typical Thai versions. We also tried Roti Canai, a delicious grilled flatbread served with curry. We shared several main dishes, with highlights including the fiery Sambal Tumis Shrimp and crispy okra, which was cooked to perfection—this is how okra should be enjoyed! The asparagus tofu, black pepper beef, and ginger chicken were all fantastic. We ordered two seafood noodle dishes and two rice dishes—the house special fried rice and vegetable...

Must try. Six of us had a family dinner. The Roti and Curry. Amazing court. We shared two, had three. The lemon grass soup was fabulous and full of shrimp, chicken, tofu vegetables and herbs. We pulled it off a bit, but the whole bowl is done. A bowl gives a generous part for four. The Nasi Lemak, coconut rice, was just an interesting mixture of different flavors. We all blended and it was beautiful. Don't miss the walnut shrimp. These rivals of any Chinese restaurant where I had this classic dish. I would have loved some walnuts. Last but not least choose to share a dessert. They'll be stuffed by him, it's worth it. We shared one and a drawn tea. Great flavors. There were more dishes, but t...

I love Malaysian food and have been wanting to come here for awhile. During our visit only half the restaurant was open to guests. They had a nice flow of people coming and going. We were fortunate to not have to wait. Service was great and so was the food. We ordered the… Nasi Lemak better here than most places I’ve tried. Their spicy sambal is really the star. Elevates the dish. We asked for extra on the side and added it to everything. Char Kway Teow big portion, nicely flavored, and noodles were cooked perfectly chewy. Curry Laksa also big portion. Noodles were a little soft for my preference and the broth was slightly bland. Looked jammed packed with flavor but was on the milder side. R... Reserva una mesa ahora

We started with chicken satay, which was a tad disappointing since they don't offer lamb satay (not sure why). We also tried the Roti Canai, which was reminiscent of a beef quesadilla served with curry sauce. The seafood curry in the clay pot was excellent but was oddly served in a metal pan. Next, we ordered Daging Kecap Manis, a spicy-sweet beef dish, along with the enormous Cantonese Golden Noodle, which could easily have fed two people. Overall, the food was outstanding, and the service was attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Awesome food. Must try. I was really craving some authentic Malaysian food and this is the closest one to San Diego. I drove an hour to try the food and this is something that I plan to do regularly in future. Murtabak is good, very meaty. The specialty drinks are must try like Rambutan ice, Lychee ice or the Teh Tarik. Daging Kecap Manis was too good. I am sure all the menu is good. Everything we tried were delicious. The place gets busy, very busy. Book ahead of time.

I ordered these on UberEats and the food was fantastic! Lots of noodle on the Laksa which was spicy (medium). The Nasi Lemak has a great combination of all good stuff from the rice to the spicy anchovy! The shrimps on Char Kway Teow are yummy! Would definitely come back to taste these authentic Malay food.

My husband lived in Malaysia for 2 years. He struggles to find the foods that he loved when he lived there. This place took him right back to Malaysia! Amazing food! We don’t live near by but will definitely be traveling here more. Worth the drive for sure! Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a good place to try southeastern Asia food. Of course it cannot compare to Hawker center in Singapore, but it is okay enough. Service is great. All the waiters is very helpful. I would recommend chicken satay and Gado Gado. Price is decent too.
