This was my first visit in some time. In the past, I felt that the prices were a bit high for the quality of the food. However, it seems that the quality has improved significantly and now matches the prices. I found the prices to be on par with other Italian restaurants I have visited recently. The restaurant now offers generously-sized pizzas cooked in a proper oven, and the pasta is clearly freshly made. The drinks are reasonably priced, even cheaper than my local pub. The service and atmosphere were excellent. I recommend booking in advance, as the restaurant was full on Wednesday night.
The food is flavorful but lacks inspiration. The side dishes that come with the main courses are very dull. The vegetable options are unexciting and scarce. The menu has remained unchanged for years, making it challenging to find something new to try after a few visits. There are no dessert options for those with lactose intolerance, as all three choices contain dairy. The restaurant should consider updating and diversifying their menu to cater to different dietary needs.
