Service was quick, great outdoor atmosphere but food was basic and extremely overpriced for the quality. We paid $70 for 3 appetizers. The caprese salad didn?t even have basil and looked/tasted like somebody slapped Costco mozzarella onto a plate andcovered it with roasted red peppers. Not even drizzled in olive oil. The eggplant involtini rolls were decent but $25 for 2 andserved with a children?s size side of wet pasta? Absolutely not. The warm artichoke appetizer was probably the best thing we gotbut overall would not return.
Absolutely love this place. Everything was perfect the service, food, setting. Could not expect anything more. One of my favorite Italian restaurants I?ve been to and definitely on the less pricey side of Italian restaurants. My pasta came with apretty big side salad. The complimentary bread was amazing. They had some really unique options for dessert and I tried thespumoni (multi flavored stacked gelato). I had such a great experience here especially with the amazing service and extremelynice waiters.
We visited Bella Via in the new location. It felt a bit cramped but the food and service was excellent as always. We did notice a fairly significant hike in prices and the small side of pasta with the main courses has been eliminated which was always included with the meal. That set Bella Via apart from many other Italian restaurants and we were disappointed to see that change. We will definitely go again but probably not as often as we went in the past.
Love the new location and interior. Excellent food but smaller portions than before (no side pasta or salad included anymore) and menu prices went way up. Expensive! $120 before tip for 2 pastas, chicken parm, a soup, and tiramisu, no drinks. $30 Pastas yikes, but homemade and delicious. Great service. Nice outdoor Al fresco patio. Will definitely return. Ps Tiramisu was one of the best I’ve had!!

The mini meatball appetizer was delicious. All our meals looked wonderful. I had the shrimp cappelini with broccholi and it was great. It was nice being out, having great service and food and seeing a restaurant filled with people!
My only comment is that our waiter did not tell us about items that were not available last night when he gave us the menus. We did not find out until we tried to order them. Other wise everything was wonderful!
Loved that they adhered to the Highland Park vaccine mandate and checked to confirm we were vaccinated. That made us feel safe and comfortable. The food and service were the usual high quality.
We celebrated fathers day in a new location. Food was delicious,lady who served us was outstanding. Food came fast,drinks too. Overall would highly recommend restaurant to everybody:

Loved the new location. Food was very good as expected. Only suggestion would be to allow pasta substitute instead of no substitutes allowed.
Glad you survived the politicians reaction to Covid. Food is spectacular. as good as ever. All of us had a great time.
