My husband and I came here for the first time for restaurant week. They only served what was on that menu. We didn?t mind since that?s why we went. They were very busy!! The wait for the food was long but they offered us complimentary Prosecco which was nice of them. The food definitely tasted better than it looked (at least for the app I got) The staff were very kind! Space is pretty small but we sat on the wall area which I felt better in because there wasn?t too many
I have never been to a nicer Italian restaurant. In fact I'd say I've never been to a nicer fine dining restaurant. Not only is the food fantastic, (get the Salmon!!! they care about presentation and cater to their guests needs before they even know they have them. My water glass never got past half full, I was checked on several times while I devoured my delicious dinner. There was hot tea to warm me while dinner was being prepared and chocolate mouse as a sweet treat
What a great dinner! The waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. The food was delicious. Standouts were Gazpacho (with an amazing crunch that added texture maybe tiny breadcrumbs? , lightly fried burrata and linguini with clams, lobster, mussels, and scallops. Ohhh, and the bread was soft warm and on point. Check it out.
My wife and I decided to go here for our 30th anniversary and we chose the gastronomic for 2 because we were feeling adventurous. We had a good and all 5 courses chosen by Chef were excellent, and perfectly prepared except the shrimp that came with the rock fish were a little under cooked. Food was pretty good. The wine was eh. We got the house bottle. The mussels were tasty so was the calamari. Great appetizers to share with the table. I love the bread and Parmesan cheese to start. We went pretty late and they were accommodating. My dish tasted pretty much like butter. The veals were really good.
This was an all around amazing experience. The authenticity of Bellissimo?s food was exactly what we were looking for. True Italian food with a classy atmosphere. Our service was phenomenal!! Each individual that was there exceeded our expectations. We will be traveling back to Virginia for this food.
I really wanted to like this place. It?s very cute old world Italian, and the servers are excellent. However, my Angel hair pasta was gummy, and the fried burrata turned out like soup when I cut into it. While the ambiance was great, we will not be returning.

"My partner and I met up with my sister here for brunch/lunch and it was great! We came in on a Sunday around 10:30am and we were seated right away. The waiter was super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! Went later for some cheesecake slices.My only complaint is that the slices are nearly $10 each!! A little pricey, in my opinion, but nonetheless tasty!"
