We had only been here once before at least a year ago on a crazy busy Saturday night, but thought if we just stopped by on a Monday for an early supper it wouldn't be a problem. Wrong! Their tables were full or reserved before 6:30 pm. The very helpful hostess offered a table in the lounge, which we at first weren't too keen on. But actually, the lounge was lovely and quiet, more intimate than the busy dining room. Service was pleasant and helpful. Started with lovely warm buns with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. My husband had the Aragosta with lobster meat, lovely firm prawns and two perfectly cooked jumbo scallops on spaghetti with a sherry wine cream sauce. I had the Spinach...
I have been to Bellissimo many times with friends and we always have a good time and enjoy our meals. This specific visit was a business dinner .. so I wanted to make sure that this would be a wonderful experience for my guests. When I made the reservation I asked which room Manny was working in - the bar - so I booked my table there. He was polite, friendly, funny and very very helpful. Helpful .. he provided us with several excellent suggestions for cocktails, our wine selections, and our appetizers and entrees! My guests loved all of his recommendations and they couldn't have been happier with our dinner experience!
We attended this restaurant for the first time in advance of attending the Cirque du Soleil in Winnipeg. We arrived just prior to our reservation and were finished our meal on time thanks to the assistance of our serving staff. The meal was timed nicely and our only regrets were that we had to rush our dessert to make the show. The portions were the right size for us and the flavours of the appetizers (mussels) to the main course were excellent (seafood with linguine and veal with lemon cream sauce). We would definitely go again and would not hesitate to recommend as an Italian restaurant.
Went here for a birthday dinner recently and had a fantastic meal. All of the food was fresh made in house. We tried the Aragosta, Cavatelli, and Vitello Parmigiana. All of us LOVED our main courses. The only two things we ate that I was not over the moon about was the caesar salad and the Creme Brûlée. I was not a huge fan of their dressing and the Brûlée tasted a little burnt to me. Other than that, I would return in a heartbeat. The service we received was excellent, but it did take a while to get our main course, which was definitely worth the wait since everything is homemade here.

Three different pan pizzas were ordered by our group and all were delicious. One member of our party asked for a recommendation and it was the priciest item on the menu. He went for it and it was delicious too. The wait was quite long for our meal, but we were not in a hurry and felt it was worth the wait.
I have read good reviews about this place so we went for lunch to try it out. I ordered a pizza and the hubby ordered a mac and cheese. The food was okay, nothing extraordinary - a little on the salty side, actually. The restaurant itself looks a little dated. The service was friendly and attentive.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Bellissimo. I had the lamb shank which was so tender the meat was falling off the bone. Several delicious options for vegans in the group. Our server was very professional informative, help with wine selection and meal choices. We’ll be back!
Our waitress was super nice with great suggestions. The place was packed (good sign) so our orders took awhile but worth the wait. The food was absolutely the best. On the pricey side but you get what you pay for.

Great place to enjoy lunch, are in the lounge. Service and food was excellent. First time being there, will not be the last!
Awesome as ALWAYS! One of us can only eat gluten free dishes but they always accommodate us with perfection.
