My husband and I have been loyal customers at this restaurant for many years, and we used to absolutely love it. The food was outstanding, the service was attentive, and the portion sizes were quite generous. However, in the last couple of months, we've noticed a significant decline in quality. The service has become slow and unenthusiastic, and the portion sizes have shrunk considerably—sometimes they only serve about 10 pieces of potato. Moreover, the quality of the food has deteriorated; they don’t even bother to spread the avocado on the toast properly anymore. Everything feels rather chaotic and overpriced for what you receive. Unfortunately, we've decided to look for a new restaurant....

I tried to place a takeout order over the phone, but unfortunately, the waitress who answered was quite rude. When I asked a few questions about the menu, she told me they had better things to do than give details. I was then told to call back when I was more organized and had made my decision. I believe that calling is meant for clarification, and I expect this level of service as a basic aspect of customer care. While I was disappointed with the phone interaction, the food was, as always, very good.

B&F was the first restaurant we went to after crossing the border into Canada. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, especially since we didn’t know any French! The menu had a fantastic selection, which was ideal for our family of teenagers. We particularly enjoyed the French toast with brie!

Dining in at this place is fantastic (similar to Candiac), but when it comes to takeout, both locations frequently mess up our orders. Items are often missing or not prepared as requested.

This restaurant is an excellent choice for brunch! The staff was quite busy, but they were very friendly. I highly recommend the Duo Santé for a lighter breakfast option.
