I’ve rocked up at the Bennett Arms having driven from Plymouth to come and visit my Dad, and I couldn’t ask for more. I very rarely give stars (if I ever have), because nothings perfect, but the Bennett Arms is close enough to perfect...for me. I rang two days ago to ask for space in their field to park my camper. Totally accommodating and welcoming on the phone, and the camper parking is free! There’s limited facilities with toilets and a water point, but I’m only here one night so don’t need any more. The pub itself is big with an open bar restaurant area, a pool table and a huge outside space that’s broken into different outside rooms with a big marquee and (what looks like) a BBQ bar. Bo...
I came to the Bennet Arms with some friends who live nearby as I was looking for somewhere to grab something to eat, I was greeted with a friendly welcome from the landlord as well as by the staff. The food was excellent as was...the service by the bar staff, despite the challenging situation at the moment the staff were attentive and helpful. Highly recommended!
Spent a night on a large grass area at back of pub. Plenty of space for out motorhome. Met on arrival by friendly and helpful owner. Had beer batter fish and chips which was excellent and good value. Free parking in exchange for using...the restaurant seems like a great deal to us. Thank-you Sally and Boyd for a good stay we will be back. Steve and Mandy
Stayed at this lovely pub overnight in my motorhome. Friendly, helpful staff and great food at a reasonable price. They have a huge field at the back of the pub for campers to stay. Very peaceful, and secure. Definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic pub. Something for everyone. Great food, superb service, family friendly, large garden with big play area. Pool, darts, sports on TV if desired. Landlord and Landlady so lovely. I will go back again and again. Highly recommended.
The pub was great for the football, drinks are cheap and are delivered to the tabel, zacks bar outside was amazing, he was so lovely and helpful. Very good pub will definitely be back again.
Amazing food, just had a delivery from here the food was amazing, hot, filling and plenty of it. Highly recommend anyone wanting excellent home cooked food.
Really welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, stayed overnight in the field behind in our motorhome, food was lovely and everyone was very welcoming

Absolutely gorgeous food. Great choice, delicious. Great atmosphere. Lovely friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this place.
Called it for quick supper as was staying locally. Friendly welcome plenty of choice on menu and food was very tasty.
