It was extremely noisy. It is a small place and it was packed. The problem was that with all the human noise the bartenders felt the need to loudly play music. Asked waitress to have them turn it down because we were under a speaker. They did initially but in a few minutes it was back to loud. I then talked to the hostess, I was very upset at this point, and again asked for the music to be turned down. She was very helpful and asked it we would like to move to a different table which was better. We waited over an hour for our food. Food was good. I would not recommend this place if you want to have dinner and conversation.
This is one of my favorite St. Paul places to eat. I've never had anything I didn't like here and the staff are always so nice and friendly. They also have really good soups to start your meal. We had beef barley soup and it was awesome. Then my co-worker and I had the Chicken Kiev and wild rice. Superb!
Disappointing! Onion rings overcooked. Risotto was more cheesy rice than creamy risotto. Salad order was mixed up. Paid way too much for a mediocre meal! It was supposed to be a special birthday dinner. Nothing extra was done to acknowledge that.
You can’t really go wrong with the food at Bennett’s. They’re consistent with the offerings and it’s good, casual atmosphere. If I was going to pregame somewhere, this would be a good option

Our server Tiffany was amazingFriendly, fun, really good at her job, and really accommodating and helpful when an item came cold.
Great food,awesome atmosphere and friendly staff! Its so convient that they have a free shuttle to get us to all the games!

Came here for pre-wedding dinner.
