It was Friday and I didn't want to cook. This is a great place for Japanese comfort foods. Today, we ordered the following for family style take out dinner: Hamburger Bento Comes with steamed rice, cooked veggies japanese style which includes taro, carrots, lotus, shitake mushroom, bamboo. seaweed. potato salad. and egg japanese style sweet rolled omelet. The hamburger is grilled and smells just like a summer backyard barbecue. Love having this with katsu sauce. mmmmm. Fried Fish Bento same as above but with fried fish. 3 nice pieces. Also includes tarter sauce. It's so crunchy but gentle to your upper palate. Delish. Karaage 15 pieces of fried chicken pieces. Love! I like dipping mine in ka...

We LOVE this place. This is our go-to restaurant after I get my hair done every 4-6 months, so we consider it a delightful treat. Because of COVID we normally get take out and then depending on how long my hair apt was we'll either eat in the car or we drive about a mile and eat in this really cute little park where we've been fortunate enough to not come into contact with too many others. They're in a very small plaza with another Asian restaurant and a 7-11. It's right on the corner of a pretty busy intersection, but well worth it! Parking hasn't really been an issue for us but I imagine in normal times it can be. We always get the chicken katsu and the chicken katsu in sandwich form. Both...

I have been to this plaza many times, but this is my first time noticing the store. Their menu consists of many dishes, from rice bowl to curry bowl. My orders consists of a Gyudon and Katsudon. The battered pork from the katsudon was crunchy, while the onion and egg mixture was soft and light. They topped my bowl with the delicious sauce that cook the pork and egg. The bowl also came with pickles, but I don't quite like the taste. My husband got the Gyudon and said it was delicious. Wish he could provide more detail, but, oh well, husband being husband. The two ladies working in the restaurant were attentive and friendly. The restaurant is quite small so it's more suitable to order to-go, unle...

The food was overly salty and ultimately inedible, lacking any sense of authenticity. Today, we ordered oyakodon, katsudon, and gyudon, and I can honestly say I’ve never experienced anything quite so disappointing. The gyudon tasted more like teriyaki sauce than anything else, and the beef was tough and excessively fatty. The oyakodon was quite gloppy, although the chicken-to-rice ratio was generous. The katsudon was the only dish that was somewhat acceptable, although the pickles were a bit over the top. I wouldn’t recommend this place for Japanese bento. Reserva una mesa ahora

The staff were friendly, and the food had an incredible aroma. The dishes were very appetizing. I ordered the assorted bento, and everything was delicious! I love having a wide range of flavors in my meal, and this one satisfied every tastebud. The variety offered here is a refreshing change from the usual California rolls and teriyaki chicken found in typical LA/OC Japanese restaurants, which I truly appreciated. I savored every bite of my dinner! It’s a solid 10/10, and I will definitely be returning.

I used the neighborhood of Bento to provide a memorial service to my wife's brother who has recently died. There were about 100 people visiting. Everyone loved the salmon, chicken (kara-age) and beef (yakiniku) Bento lunch. Thanks Tetsuko. Everything was perfect and perfectly prepared!

My favorite dish here is the grilled mackerel. Be sure to try the salad as well; it's different from any other greens I've had, and I really enjoy the tangy dressing that accompanies it. Many of the vegetables used in the dishes come straight from the owner's farm.

I really wanted to love this restaurant because I enjoy JP Bentos and it’s conveniently located near my home. Unfortunately, all five dishes I ordered were extremely salty. Additionally, their hours seem quite inconvenient. Reserva una mesa ahora

This place is great! Good, healthy and tasty lunch options for under $15. Sake and chicken karage bentos are my go-to choices.
