Big Marco's Pizzeria

It was supposed to be a nice afternoon out with my mom and I. We decided to try Big Marcos. They should change their name to Big Mistake! It is not wheelchair accessible at all. In a retirement community like St. Catharines, it would benefit them to be accessible. They have a tiny makeshift ramp at the door which is the size of a shoebox. The are doors are impossible to open while trying to push a wheelchair through. Not only do you have to do it once but there's are two sets of doors to get through. The staff offered no assistance whatsoever. They just stood there and watched us struggle. Our server was nice and efficient, which was the only redeeming quality. The nachos were horrible. They...

Egg Plant Parm is unbeatable. I eat it every time I go. Service is always great. Beer is cold. The bread they serve before the meal is incredible. My only complaint is that the salad that comes with the meal is kind of weak. That and the salt and pepper shakers along with the oil bottles on the tables and the menus are always far to sticky and gross, if the food wasn't so good I would never go back due to cleanliness of the table area and even sometime the utensils. CLEAN YOUR MENUS. Not just whipe them down and put them away so they are all sticky. But clean them along with the table areas and I would go back way more often!

It makes me sad to write this because I have fond memories of ordering pizza here with my friends when we were teenagers 15 years ago. Sadly in the present day ordering a sandwich with fries will result in a sad mess of soggy fries, accompanied by sandwich ingredients clearly cobbled together from multi-day leftovers drained of all flavour. The wings are okay though.

This restaurant serves the best Italian brutzese food in the area. The salad dressing tastes just like my grandmother used to make. The portion sizes are generous, so you'll likely have leftovers for dinner the next day. The wait staff is excellent and friendly.

The pizza and service at this restaurant are still top-notch, just like they were 20 years ago when we used to go on hunting trips. We were always treated well, had a lot of laughs, and it's a great place to relax without breaking the bank.
