Just because an eatery has built a strong reputation, doesn 't mean it can afford to rest on its laurels. Bill 's restaurant built its reputation on the quality of the food, which in the past has been exemplary, but based on a basic breakfast offering it is apparent something has been lost. My friend and I ordered a Traditional Breakfast and two coffees on Wednesday 3rd January '24. Despite having been asked if we 'd like to start by ordering something to drink, the coffees took longer than the breakfast to arrive and were luke warm by the time we 'd started tucking into the food. This breakfast comprised: 2 eggs rubbery), a halved tomato soggy, looked as if it had been sitting at the bottom...
4 of us met for brunch at a prebooked table on Sat 3 Feb at 10.30. Hadnt seen each other for ages so we had lots to chat about. Food drinks arrived quick was nice but by 11.15 the bill was put on our table, before we'd even asked for it! We thought this was very rude made us feel we were no-longer welcome, so we paid went up the road to another coffee shop for more drinks. Also the unisex toilets smelt of urine. They need more regular cleaning, especially if men women are sharing the same cubicles.
Website says opens at 8.00 am. Went there at10.00 am. Staff were rearranging furniture and left myself and other people waiting, only to be told they weren’t open and to come back. As if I would after that. I suggested they alter their website to be told rudely by the manager that they didn’t open until 11.00. Check your website and don’t be so rude to customers. I will never go again.
Super tasty and fresh! Lovely fresh ingredients and very friendly staff, attentive to our needs. The decor etc was really relaxed and the service was attentive enough to be good but not too fast to be hurried

Ella and ruby were great hosts and looked after us really well. The atmosphere was good for the evening and a nice place to come with young people
