A wet Sunday lunchtime in July and we dived in here to a) get out of the rain and b) because they had a table, unlike the first place we tried. What luck! A small bistro and bar which was packed, but we had a good welcome a were shown to our table. There is no menu, but blackboards everywhere with current offerings on. I chose the salade campagnard and my partner opted for the moules frites. we eat here regularly and never eat that disappointed. it is a hearty French food that is always fresh and tasty. it is not a huge menu, but it changes regularly and in any case offers something for most taste with fish dishes, several meat dishes, different...Salads and often suppen in winter. the service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is large a large fireplace that is illuminated in the colder months, magnificent stone walls, pleasant decor. not stiff upper lip fantasy, just really beautiful and easy. one of my favorite places.
on the basis of the recommendation visited by lonely planet, but I cannot say that I was impressed. I had the french woof and steak tart, and both were okay. the muddles of my friend were excellent. the big disappointment was the poached pear ice cream' I received a large...copper ice cream with pieces poached birne a tonne of saw and fold! in the ground a monstrosity. service was met and miss both in efficiency and ease.
We have had meals at the Bistro du Coin over the past years but this year it was brilliant. The owners now keep some excellent beers to go with the food. I enjoyed the rump steak twice in a week and my wife had...the scallops and the lamb which were very well cooked and presented. Enjoyed the friendly company, hosts, food and drinks. Will return

I enjoyed the Rump-Steak twice in the week and had my wife. the skallops and the lamb, which were very well cooked and presented. enjoy the friendly society, host, eat and drink. will return.
