bivios once was a pretty authentic italian local, tasty pizzas and good homemade pasta, gnocchi was fantastic. Sadly all good things come to an end. Bivio special was a pizza we loved no longer no flavour and big chunks of bacon sparsely spread, used to be finely sliced generously spread with great garlic flavour coming through. Who puts carrots and celery in a Napoli sauce. Destroyed a go to dish, gnocchi a used to be awesome, now bland and tasteless. So so disappointing. Kew just seems to struggle to attract authentic tasty food..
I am from Italy and I am a pizza lover and I have to say that the pizza made by the owner was just amazing, very very tasty, the base was stunning, they have very high quality ingredients.Daniela told me that her husband tried many times different way to prepare the pizza base and that is the way how somebody really have passion of wht is doing......they deserve successThey made a really lovely ambient with the new restyling, the good thing is that I live steps away from Al Bivio and they will see me very often!!!!
We had lunch at BIVIO today is was delicious the soup was superb (red lentil with chickpea and rosemary)Shared a beautiful pizza the base and topping were perfect!The new owners are focused on sourcing the best possible quality ingredients with positive focus on environmental sustainability within the food chains.It was refreshing to see what was old is now new again in the best possible way!We will be back with friends and family for another Italian treat!
We live in Kew and Bivio has been a long-standing cafe in the area, a real landmark in fact, close to Kew junction and with easy and ample parking close by (behind the restaurant) as well as a pleasant courtyard area at the back. If you're a local - then the pizzas and pasta (and there are steaks too!) are pleasant enough and prices are reasonable - but I don't think that Bivio is the kind of place that will attract folks from other suburbs.

This restaurant is fantastic - the staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the ambience with Italian music playing in the background was perfect. I tried a fantastic pizza made by an Italian pizzaiolo using fresh ingredients, and it was the best pizza I've ever had. I highly recommend this place.
Just changed hands and has reopened. Seriously good pizza served by authentic Italians. A must try if you are in the area or live near by. Thin and tasty with beautifully fresh ingredients. Yummy! Our family was not disappointed and will be back. Thank you Bivio.
we have visited Bivio as a family for about 20 years. On our latest visit we enjoyed the same consistent quality. Everything is in a hurry, but that reflects the on-going demand for tables. Pizzas, salads soup and especially chicken livers, all good!
Good range of reasonably priced pizza's and I always enjoy the Penne Bolognese. Service is very good and has the feel of a family restaurant. The red devil Pizza gets us off to a spicy start and is very tasty.

Even as a single diner on a busy Friday night, I was made to feel welcome. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would definitely return.
