Based on the other reviews, I’d say most people don’t actually know what good BBQ should taste like or we’ve been very unlucky with off nights for the kitchen both of the two times we’ve eaten there. The salad did not have 2 of the main listed menu ingredients. The amount of brisket on the bun was the smallest amount of meat by far we’ve ever received at any BBQ. Quite insubstantial. Unfortunately, the service was very slow as we waited to be served for about 15 minutes or more. The food was served cold and the beer was not cold either. However, the portion sizes were good. The overall rating for service was 2 out of 5, while the atmosphere received a 3 out of 5. Recommended dishes include the Half Rack of Ribs and Sides, 16hr Smoked Brisket Platter, Salad, Rib Platter, and Pastrami. Parking was difficult to find but there are options for free parking in a lot or on the street. Meal type was dinner and the average price per person was between $30-50.
We hired Black Diamond BBQ to cater food and drinks at our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing. Jason and his team were incredibly easy to work with and made the whole experience enjoyable. The food and service were top-notch, and many of our guests raved about how delicious everything was. We were so impressed that we went back to the restaurant with our family a few days later because we couldn't get enough. I highly recommend them for any catering needs! I have always had a great experience here. The staff is kind and the food never disappoints. I look forward to take out regularly and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good bbq spot! Picked up dinner tonight, beans very under cooked. By the time I got home approx 20 mins, buns very soggy . Maybe keep buns separate in Togo box . Pickles just cucumbers in vinegar. This is the best barbecue we've had in a long time. The brisket is absolutely delicious! The service was great, the meal type was lunch, and the price per person ranged from $20-30. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.
