I opted for the wrapped chicken with capsicum sauce for my main course, which was simple but well-executed. However, the standout dish of the evening was the short rib, cooked to perfection with a crispy skin and melt-in-the-mouth meat. The only downside was that the chicken dish paled in comparison to the exceptional short rib.
Overall, the service staff were attentive and the atmosphere was welcoming. The restaurant even provided a table for the birthday cake and ample space for our large party. Despite a few minor shortcomings such as the lack of warm bread and dipping oil, the Black Rose Cafe knows how to throw a fantastic party. I highly recommend this spot for those seeking a top-notc...
I went to this restaurant for dinner and tried the Banquet Menu. The appetizers were delicious and a great start to the evening. My favorite dish was the garlic prawns. The main courses were generous in size, but some lacked flavor. I particularly enjoyed the Barramundi Fillet. The cocktails and freshly squeezed juices here are exceptional. One of the waiters provided outstanding service, although the others were not as great. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely return.
This restaurant offers amazing food, with very friendly staff and excellent service every time! The best pasta dishes we tried were the spaghetti aglio e olio with shrimp and the penne genovese. Another main dish I recommend is the barramundi in acqua pazza. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Reading the other reviews reminds me of the saying 'you just can 't please everyone.. ', tonight... I was pretty pleased. Go to Parramatta if you want ordinary Italian or Cafe food... Because you won 't get that here! Been coming here for years and it just keeps getting better.
Black Rose just gets everything right. A hidden gem in the heart of Liverpool, the food and service excel every time. I asked the owner to recommend a wine to match my food and it was no trouble to give me a little to taste. Of course, it was perfect. I will be back again soon.
Used a groupon voucher here and they didnt lower their standards unlike other groupon places. Ordered the eggs benedict with smoked salmon with a skim cappuccino. Eggs were beautifully cooked and other accompaniments (spinach/bread) were nice as well.
I have to honestly say one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to in Sydney. The service is fantastic and the food is amazing. Ever since I have moved to the area, its the Italian restaurant of choice! I highly recommend

Really good food, although a little pricey. Really friendly staff. Our pizzas were tasty and so was the wine. Will go back again.
